Cozy atmosphere and wonderful staff

I had a delightful stay for 5 nights, where the incredibly kind and helpful staff made all the difference. Each morning, I enjoyed a solid breakfast with eggs, sausage, and fresh fruit. The location is peaceful yet just a short drive from Ponta Delgada, making it easy to explore the island. One thing I wish could be improved is the lack of a drying rack in the room for wet clothes, given the unpredictable weather.

We had an amazing view of the ocean that made waking up such a delight. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the location was central to many attractions and lovely restaurants. The boardwalk next to the ocean was ideal for evening strolls, and breakfast was solid each morning.

The humidity from the ocean was tricky at times.

I stayed for 6 nights at Arcanjo, and the warm, accommodating staff made it so enjoyable! The shower was fantastic, and the views from the room were stunning. Just wish they had a drying rack for wet clothes. Overall, a great experience!

I had a fabulous stay for 4 nights. The view of the ocean was stunning to wake up to every morning. The breakfast was solid and the air conditioning worked like a champ. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place! 😊

Unfortunately, I encountered quite a few challenges during my stay. The noise from dogs barking was frequent, and the room had poor sound insulation, making it hard to get restful sleep. Additionally, the mattresses were old and uncomfortable, with noticeable dips in the center.

The staff was extremely accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. We loved our stay in the family room with amazing views of the coastline. Plus, the location made it easy to explore nearby charming churches and local sites.

My kids wished there were more options for breakfast variety.

The staff were incredibly helpful, even provided us with some nice local restaurant recommendations we loved! Our rooms were clean and spacious, with lovely views of the ocean that made each morning special.

It wasn't the cheapest option around, but still acceptable for the experience we had.

The staff provided us with beach towels at no extra cost. Our room had a slight damp smell.
